This week long trip was spent with a wild group of friends to ring in 2016. So, I don’t have a lot of notes because, honestly, most of the time I was…

Salt Lake City
Eat & Love:
- Beer Hive Pub. Really nice establishment – I’m sorry for what happened here…it was night one!
- Bar-X. Another cool bar. It is also connected to this sausage place that had all kinds of sausages (even vegan ones!) for a late night snack.
- Park Cafe – for breakfast!
- Lumpy’s Bar and the club next door
- Red Iguana – okay, hands down, coming from southern California residents: this was one of the best Mexican meals any of us have had. There was a wait as we expected so we waited outside in the freezing snow and drank their complementary hot cider…worth it!
- Keys on Main – a really fun dueling paining bar.
- Learned how to ski at Solitude! Our group also went to the other big resorts but I wasn’t ready
- Visit the State Capital building

- The Bayou – yummy Cajun style food
- All Chay – vegan spot in SLC?! I had to try!
- Temple Square – definitely fun to walk around especially during this time of year. There were tons of Christmas lights and beautiful decorations everywhere.
- Gracie’s – came here to watch the Packers
- The Pie Hole – omg. all kinds of pizza (vegan included). open late night.
- Squatters brewery
Park City
The cutest little snowy place on Earth (besides Fort Collins)
Eat & Love:
- The Eating Establishment – YUM. MAGICAL.
- Aura Spa for massages!
- Southwest Indian Trade had some good finds to take home.
- Atticus Coffee, Teahouse and Books. Spent a good amount of time staying warm in here.
- We discovered Fatali (the Light Hunter). He is an amazing photographer who has a gallery in Park City – must see!
- Purple Sage for a nice dinner
- No Name Saloon & Grill – super fun bar and restaurant!
- High West distillery and saloon – bomb food and bomb whiskey!
- Spur bar and grill
- The Cabin – definitely a fun place to spend your night! There was live music, open mic, pool, fun crowd and a bar dog.
